On 8 July, the inaugural conference of the Sciences Po Overseas Chair took place.

More than 350 economic, academic, associative, political and student actors were able to meet and exchange at Sciences Po and online. The current Senator and former president of Saint-Pierre-and-Miquelon as well as OCTA Chair, Mr. Stéphane Artano, spoke about OCTA during his intervention.

The first in-depth studies will be the BEST survey (Happiness, Environment, Societies and Territories) and the MAIRES survey, for which they will contact the 212 mayors of the overseas municipalities in the coming weeks.

In addition, from 22 September, Sciences Po will offer its first course sessions on the Overseas Territories, both in Paris and in the territories, for audiences ranging from high school students in CEP conventions to elected officials and local economic decision-makers.

Finally, the first research note is already available on their website, which is dedicated to the evolution of the regional vote.
