Youth Information Center New-Caledonia

The Youth Information Center New-Caledonia (CIJNC) is an association born from a combined desire of the members of the government of New-Caledonia in charge of Youth and Sports, and the Presidents of the three Provinces, to fulfill four missions:

• Coordinate the animation and development of the Youth Information offices and points (BIJ and PIJ) in New Caledonia
• Professionalize the youth informants who work in these structures at the service of young people;
• Develop, with the provincial resource centers, local documentation meeting the ethics of the Youth Information Charter.
• Make the Youth Information network known to young people and communities.

The action of the CIJNC is also part of that of the national network, led by the Center for Information and Documentation of Youth (CIDJ) in Paris.
