Survey by the Caribbean Research Council – NWO

Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius, Sint Maarten

The Caribbean Research Council – NWO is conducting an online survey to identify the knowledge needs of the six islands in the Dutch Caribbean. The survey is open to all natives and residents of Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, St. Eustatius, St. Maarten and Saba. More information available below.

In 2019, NWO conducted an online survey to identify the knowledge needs of the six islands in the Dutch Caribbean. The outcome of the survey will be used as the basis for a Caribbean research agenda. In view of the major impact of COVID-19 on many topics, it is important to complement the previously collected input. Therefore, NWO invites scientists, stakeholders and citizens on (or from) the Caribbean islands to provide input on research priorities which is directly or indirectly related to the pandemic.

Are you a native and/or resident of one of the islands of Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, St. Eustatius, St. Maarten or Saba, or are you an employee of an organization based on one of the six Caribbean islands of the Kingdom? Fill out the survey and have a say in what questions researchers should answer for the Dutch Caribbean in the coming years. The survey can be completed in English, Papiamento or Dutch until January 15, 2022.

Respondents can also provide input on a draft summary of the input obtained from the 2019 survey.
