Clean energy for EU islands

The EU Islands Clean Energy Secretariat, an initiative of the European Commission, is the central platform for the clean energy transition of Europe’s more than 2,200 inhabited islands. Its website presents best island practices, as well as the islands and groups of islands participating in the “30 for 2030” call for projects. It provides information on policy and regulatory issues facing European island communities, and specific advice on capacity building and clean energy transition.
Bonaire, New Caledonia, Saba and St Eustatius have been selected for the “30 for 2030” call for projects.
