OCTA & Enviropea organise a Webinar on LIFE for the OCTs

Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, French Polynesia, French Southern and Antarctic Lands (TAAF), Greenland, New Caledonia, Saba, Saint-Barthelemy, Saint-Pierre-and-Miquelon, Sint Eustatius, Sint Maarten, Wallis and Futuna

The LIFE Programme is the main European Union’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action, OCTs will be only fully eligible to LIFE as of the next programming period 2021-2027, a long-term claim of the OCTs. In this context, OCTA has organised a training session to our members on the opportunities on the LIFE programme.

The webinar took place in two sessions, a general one on the 15th of September, and a regional one on the 22nd of September on specific (and different) schedules for the Pacific and the Caribbean regions. We believe that this webinar was a great opportunity for the OCTs to gain an in-depth knowledge about the funding opportunities available for environment and climate action.
