Golden Rock Roman Catholic School

The Golden Rock School is the oldest primary education institution on St. Eustatius.

The school is located in a quiet spot overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It has a student population of approximately 91 students. The students have a multicultural background. In addition to Dutch, mainly Statian English is spoken at school. Last school year, the Golden Rock, together with other primary schools, switched from the Dutch education system to the English system, with the English language as the language of instruction. Dutch is taught as a modern foreign language.
