French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna

The Pacific Fund, managed by the Permanent Secretariat for the Pacific and included in the budget of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, aims to promote economic, social, scientific and cultural cooperation in the Pacific and the regional integration of New Caledonia, French Polynesia and the Wallis and Futuna Islands.

The Fund is dedicated to regional cooperation actions with the countries and organisations of Oceania. The projects financed must pursue the general objective of integrating the overseas collectivities into the region and involve at least one French territory and one third country.

The priority themes are:

  • Projects contributing to health security (fight against endemic, non-communicable diseases or those caused by infectious vectors) or food security (management of fisheries resources, etc.)
  • Projects enabling French local authorities to be involved in the fight against climate change and disaster risk prevention.
  • Projects of an economic nature that implement the know-how of French local authorities or benefit them and contribute to strengthening economic exchanges at regional level.

The Pacific Fund will co-finance projects and its contribution may not exceed 50% of the overall expenditure.

The deadline for application is 31 August 2021.
