L’OCTA \u00e0 le plaisir d’accueillir M. Juan E. Thijsen, r\u00e9cemment nomm\u00e9 repr\u00e9sentant de l’UE pour le gouvernement d’Aruba, en tant que nouveau pr\u00e9sident du comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif de l’Association.<\/p>\n

Avocat de formation, M. Thijsen \u00e9tait auparavant pr\u00e9sident du Parlement d’Aruba de novembre 2017 \u00e0 juillet 2021, et membre du Parlement d’Aruba depuis 2005. M. Thijsen a une grande exp\u00e9rience des affaires politiques et apportera ses excellentes connaissances et son leadership \u00e0 l’Association.<\/p>\n

En tant que nouveau pr\u00e9sident du comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif de l’OCTA, M. Thijsen jouera un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans le maintien du bon fonctionnement de l’Association, ainsi que dans les relations avec la Commission europ\u00e9enne et les autres parties prenantes. Il assurera ce r\u00f4le jusqu’\u00e0 la prochaine conf\u00e9rence minist\u00e9rielle qui aura lieu plus tard cette ann\u00e9e \u00e0 Noum\u00e9a, en Nouvelle-Cal\u00e9donie.<\/p>\n

Le comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif de l’OCTA est compos\u00e9 de 6 membres et d’un pr\u00e9sident. Son objectif est de traduire les priorit\u00e9s politiques fix\u00e9es par la Conf\u00e9rence minist\u00e9rielle – la plus haute instance de d\u00e9cision de l’OCTA – en actions de soutien sp\u00e9cifique en faveur des membres de l’Association.<\/p>\n
